I’ve been asked quite a few times lately about my skincare routine, I do have one up on here already but I’ve since updated it so I thought I would share again!

I found the brand TULA through Instagram because quite a few other people I follow were using it (and loving it) so I thought I would give it a shot. I fell in love with the brand pretty quickly! (I should also mention I’m not affiliated with TULA, and am not being compensated for this post- I just personally stand behind their products!). The product is awesome and the pretty packaging, that I’m a total sucker for, is a bonus! The whole TULA brand is centred around probiotic skincare. This is a quote taken right from the TULA website:

“We use probiotics as the foundation of all TULA products. These same bacteria that are best known to help balance and calm your stomach are also clinically proven to help promote the look of skin’s natural balance, locking in moisture to leave your complexion more hydrated and reducing the appearance of inflammation.”

If you want to read more about the clean ingredients TULA uses, their benefits, as well as ingredients they DON’T use, you can follow this link!

I was really impressed upon reading about it, but of course, the proof is in the pudding- so I ended up ordering the Discovery Kit - each product comes in a convenient sample/travel size, and it also comes with a super cute bag! I love that TULA offers this , as it’s a much more cost-effective way to try out the product instead of buying each full-size product, in case it’s not for you! This is what you get in the Discovery Kit:

So without further ado, I’ll take you through my routine step by step (which is the same morning vs night, minus makeup removal!).

  1. Neutrogena All-in-One Makeup Removing Wipes

I always start with a wipe, morning or night. At night, it’s obviously more for the purpose of makeup removal, but in the morning it feels nice to just get any oil or dirt off your face before a good cleanse! These are my absolute favourite, by far!

2. Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micelle Solution (PM only)

(aka eye makeup remover!) LOVE this one. I’ve talked about it before and I’ll probably talk about it again, because I don’t think I’ll ever use another one! This is the best by far I’ve ever tried- and it lasts forever!!

3. TULA Skin Care Probiotic Purifying Face Cleanser

Things I love about this cleanser - you don’t need very much to achieve a good lather, it removes any other dirt and makeup left behind from makeup removal (safe to use on your eyes!), and your face feels super fresh after! It’s also suitable for all skin types, and doesn’t dry out your skin at all!

4. TULA Skin Care Probiotic Volume Defense Serum

I have been going in between this one and my Ordinary serums - usually the The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion - and I love them both. Since I’m almost 30 (gulp) I’ve been trying to give the new fine lines I’m finding on my forehead and beside my eyes some extra love. These are both awesome!

5. TULA Skin Care Pro-Glycolic Resurfacing Gel

This toner is awesome! It’s alcohol free so there’s no harsh chemical smell and it doesn’t make your skin feel super dry or tight after using it!

6. TULA Skin Care Probiotic Aqua Infusion Oil-Free Gel Cream

LOVE this moisturizer- especially the fact that it’s oil-free! I have problematic, acne-prone skin and oil-free products are KEY to keeping that under control for me. This moisturizer is super light, and made my skin feel comfortably hydrated without feeling greasy or oily.

7. TULA Skin Care Probiotic Overnight Skin Rescue Treatment

It’s no surprise that I spent most of my teenage-young adult years in the sun, not giving a damn about my skin, so a lot of the dull tone and fine lines are my own fault. This product is definitely help me get a decent complexion back! I put it on every other night and my skin is brighter and (for lack of a better word???) “plump” in the morning. This is also hydrating so I imagine it’s going to feel amazing to put this on at night in the coming winter months! Good for all skin types!

8. Vichy Ideal Soleil Anti-Shine Dry Touch Lotion SPF 60 (AM only)

Last but not least - sunscreen! I obviously only wear put this on in the morning before I put makeup on, but it’s become a staple in my skincare routine, because as I said, I’m really trying to take much better care of my skin - and suncreen is arguably one of the most important steps. I love this one from Vichy because it doesn’t feel greasy or oily after it goes on your skin, doesn’t change anything about the consistency or application of makeup & with an SPF 60, I don’t have to worry about the sun’s harmful rays on my face!
