SWEET & SALTY PARTY PLATTER

This amazing snack board is the ultimate party platter that will satisfy every salty & sweet tooth at your next party. It’s got a little something for everyone! It’s also really easy to put together - which is a total bonus, because at this time of year, we need things that are easy to grab and put together!

This is also a really fun alternative to the classic charcuterie board - especially if there are kids in the crowd! The absolute best part about this is how versatile this platter can truly be. You can put anything you want on it. It’s full of easy to grab things at the grocery store and after that, it’s just a matter of unpacking it all and arranging it.

When you’re choosing items for your snack board, make sure you have a nice variety between sweet and salty food. Try and find items that both taste good, but also look interesting! For example, parmesan twists add interest to the board, as do the oversized pretzels! Also, don’t be afraid to add some colour - the M&Ms give a nice fun pop of colour; you could also use jelly beans, smarties, trail mix or even penny candy!

 
 

As another added interest, I used various ramekins I had sitting around the house to contain some of my items, like the mixed nuts and M&Ms. It added another height level to make the board look a little more dimensional and they also served a purpose.

When you’re arranging your items, it really is a free for all. On a board like this, I say the fuller, the better! If you have empty spaces, fill them with smaller items- for example, I filled some gaps with some of the chocolate covered almonds I was also serving in a separate ramekin. Use as much of your board or platter as you can- this will ensure it will look lush and full!

-French onion dip

-Garlic hummus sprinkled with paprika

-Liquorice

-Chocolate covered almonds

-Popcorn

-Chocolate & yogurt covered pretzels

-Oatmeal raisin cookies

-Marble cheese

-Water crackers

-Green grapes

-Naan bread

-Mixed nuts

-Peanut M&Ms

-Parmesan cracker twists

 
 

Finally, don't stop at just the platter! You can surround it with whatever other add-ons you’d like. Use differently shaped dishes and add whatever bite-sized treats you want!
