Happy Sunday everyone!!! Oh man it has been so crazy busy lately.  It's been an insane time of year and I was in a ball tournament all weekend (and subsequently consumed a few too many adult beverages, with zero regrets) so I'm definitely looking to get back on track.  For the mornings I need to get up and get going in a short amount of time and can't give a second thought to breakfast- it has to be quick, easy, and healthy.  That usually brings me to SMOOTHIES!  I LOVE smoothies.  Smoothies are literally the easiest way to get a healthy meal in while you're on the go - which seems to be always, no?  We're also finallyyyy coming up on the season of fresh fruit and veggies.  This is prime smoothie making time.  Let's take advantage!!!


I don't get too fancy with my smoothies.  Like I said, they need to be quick, easy, and pack a nutritious punch, all in one.  I also have always believed that it can't taste bad (this sounds like an obvious statement- but if it's green and chunky and I have to choke it down, it ain't happening).  This is my absolute favourite go-to smoothie for busy mornings!


1 cup Strawberries

1/2 cup Blueberries 

1 Banana

1/2 cup Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk

2 tbsp Vanilla Greek Yogurt 

Ground flax seed

Throw in a scoop of vanilla protein powder to get some protein in and voila!  SO YUMMY.  SO EASY!
