IT'S FALL YA'LL

Okay I'm not actually convinced we're out of the woodworks yet with summer since it's supposed to feel in the 30's (celsius!! Cause I'm Canadian, remember) this weekend, but these past couple days have been dreary and cold and yes it FINALLY got me in the mood for fall.  Got myself a French vanilla from Timmies this weekend (REALLY Canadian LOL) - which is basically my pumpkin spice latte for all the Starbs fanatics in the crowd - and got all layered up and BOOM!  All of the sudden fall mode hit me like a brick.  I even have Crockpot chicken soup on the go right now!

Anyway, I decided to take advantage and dig out some of the fall stuff I had waiting for when the weather turned.  Fall is definitely my favourite time of year in terms of fashion so I wasn't too upset about it (despite recent rants that I wasn't ready yet... what can I say, once I felt that chill in the air, that was it for me!).

I'm actually obsessed with this outfit, mostly because it's comfortable AF.  I scored this awesome cardigan during the Nordstrom sale and it's going to be perfect through the fall and winter.  Love the mustard colour for this season - and it's super soft and cozy!  I'm wearing the large for reference.

Cardigan!

These studded mules are super comfortable and go with everythingggg (also scored during Nordstrom sale!) and they're quickly becoming an outfit staple!  Love how easy they are to just slip on and run out the door.

Another thing I love about this outfit is the versatility- I loved it both belted with shirt tucked in, as well as not belted and shirt untucked!  Easy way to change up the look when you want to re-wear it as well.

I had been on the hunt lately for some easy swing tanks to layer with this, since I have A LOT of cozy cardigans and honestly I had some trouble finding ones I liked, or that would fit!  It's a fine line when it comes to layering tanks because I want them to be flowy (and it feels like EVERYTHING is tight and cropped right now) so when I finally found these ones (and for 40% off) I was all over it!  It also comes in a hot pink and ivory! I'm wearing the XL for reference.

(Just a tip if you want to buy this tank - it's currently on sale but you can definitely get it for less because Banana Republic ALWAYS has 40% off sales online - so I would definitely keep an eye because it won't be long until it's 40% off again!)

LOL @ me trying to be cute but actually it was f***ing freezing while we were taking these so I was genuinely cold.  Anyways last but not least THESE JEANSSSSS.  I have been a pretty faithful AE jeans wearer up until now because I keep finding jeans at Banana Republic that blow me away.  These jeans are so friggen comfortable.  They have a nice high waist, and the material is SUPER light and stretchy and comfortable! What I love about these (as well as the other jeans I have from BR) is that the distress is minimal and hits at the knees - because if I'm being honest, jeans that are ripped in the upper thigh area don't look good at me at all because I tend to... ahem... bulge out of them when I sit down (yikes lol).  These also have a raw hem at the bottom which I loved as well, especially to pair with flats! I'm wearing the 32, tall length!

(Same goes for the jeans as with the tank - you can definitely get them for 40% off soon if you can hold off!)

Jeans!

So there you have it!  My first official fall outfit.  I have tons of great stuff for amazing prices to show you!!  So let the small-town fall fairs, porch pumpkins, big pots of soup, cozy up with scented candles season begin!
