Happy Monday friends! So we all know how expensive makeup can be. Especially when the season changes - maybe you’re looking to switch up some products or add a few new fall colours to the mix. Some products may very well be worth the cost, but others I think absolutely think you can get away with a dupe! This post has been a project in the making - I always want to make sure that the products I post about are ones that I have actually used and can stand behind as tried and true. I went on a mission to find dupes I was happy with for some of my go-to products that I talk about all the time. I wanted to make sure I really loved the drug store brands I tried just as much! So without further ado - below I’ve listed some amazing drugstore dupes for products I absolutely love!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, $27 - vs - NYX Micro Brow Pencil, $12.49

I use the brow wiz from ABH every single day (because I am waaaaaay overdue for a microblading touch-up) and absolutely love it- but that also means I go through quite a bit of it. I was really happy to find this dupe from NYX for half the price!

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara, $33 - vs - Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara, $6.99

I’m a total mascara girl, I think it’s such an easy way to immediately look more awake and polished, so I’ve tried tons of different kinds to find my favourite. Right now I go between one from Benefit as well as Covergirl Lash Blast (which, in my opinion, is one of the best I’ve ever used). It is such an amazing formula and brush, especially for the price! I tried the Marc Jacobs one after some really good reviews and honestly wasn’t impressed and could achieve the same, if not better, results with the Covergirl- so considering the price difference, this one was a no-brainer!

MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Blush in “Warm Soul”, $33 - vs - Milani Baked Blush in “Berry Amore”, $11.49

You guys know by now how I feel about MAC’s Warm Soul - I think it’s been in almost every single makeup post I’ve done so far! It’s definitely my favourite. I was really skeptical that I was going to find a product similar enough for me to love it, but honestly, the Milani Baked Blush came really close - and it’s less than half the price!

Ole Henriksen Truth On the Glow Cleansing Cloths, $19 - vs - Neutrogena All-In-One Face Wipes, $9.97

Don’t get me wrong, I love all things Ole Henrisken - and these cloths are amazing (and smell bombbbbbb). However - these Neutrogena Makeup Remover wipes are the ultimate in my opinion. They wipe off so much makeup in one swipe, and come in at an awesome price point! I switched to these a month or so ago because, again, I use one every single night to wipe off my makeup before I wash my face- and I can’t imagine I’ll be going back for how well they work and how much less expensive they are!

Beauty Blender, $28 - vs - Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, $11.99

Ahhhh, the Beauty Blender. I can’t live without it. I’ve stopped using foundation brushes all together because I just never feel like they give me the same amazing finish as a damp beauty sponge. I tried the Real Techniques sponge and was really impressed with the results (Real Techniques also has some amazing makeup brushes for a fraction of the cost!). The slanted edge was also a little bonus because it was really helpful up underneath the eyes! Overall, an amazing dupe for under half the price of the Beauty Blender!

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, $29.00 - vs - NYX Epic Ink Liner, $12

I’ve talked quite a bit about the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof liner - it’s amazing, has a really precise tip, and does. not. budge. after you put it on. The Epic Ink liner from NYX (also waterproof!) gave me the same results - and is an awesome price!! In all honesty, I will say I like the tip of the Stila liner a little bit better but the difference wasn’t huge so at the price point the NYX liner is at, it would definitely be worth it!

Makeup Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation, $52 - vs - Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation, $20.99

This Makeup Forever foundation is incredible. SUCH a natural finish. I find the Revlon Colorstay foundation to be really similar (and under half the price). In fact, I stock my makeup artistry kit primarily with Revlon Colorstay because I need quite a few more shades than I’d obviously need for just myself. I LOVE the finish it gives, and once it’s set, it stays in place! Bravo, Revlon!!

Urban Decay Naked2 Palette, $66 - vs - Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, $17.99

Okay, we all know the Urban Decay palettes are incredible. The shades are perfect, and the formula is amazing. But of course - the price is a little steep. I mean, you are definitely getting a lot of product as it’s a palette - but I really only wear shadows to events, so if you’re like that too, maybe you’re more comfortable with something a little less expensive to use. The Nudes palette from Maybelline is AWESOME. I have it and the shades are awesome! Lots of transitional shades, a couple dark ones to achieve a smokey look, and highlight shades as well - and the formula is great (plus, can’t beat 20 bucks!!).

MAC Cosmetics Amplified Lipstick in “Blankety”, $23.00 - vs - L’oreal Colour Riche Lip Colour 800 in “Fairest Nude”, $10.99

LOL you had to know this was going to be on here! MAC Blankety is lifeeeee. I was skeptical about this one too, because I’ve tried other nudes, and I go back to Blankety every. single. time. L’oreal really went for it with this one though - it is REALLY similar!!! It’s a great price, the formula is awesome, and it’s a really beautiful nude!
