FAVOURITE WORKOUT LOOKS - OLD NAVY
It’s Friday guys- we made it! I’ve officially almost made it through my first week back on the weight loss train. I gotta say, it feels really good already. I’ll be giving an update weekly on my progress so stay tuned for that!
In the meantime, I wanted to share a few of my current favourite workout looks for less! In case you couldn’t already tell, Old Navy is a go-to for me when it comes to shopping for the whole family. I’ve always been a fan of their activewear - I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love my Lululemon and I own way too much of it. But when I feel like I need a few new workout pieces for a little extra motivation, I usually steer clear of the pricey pieces for awhile - purely because I’m kinda hoping my size will be changing LOL. So Old Navy has been amazing in with those stylish and functional pieces for really reasonable prices. Old Navy is also very size inclusive, with regular sizes going up to XXL and a plus size line in addition- so there’s something for all!
A few housekeeping notes - I’ll link as much as I possibly can for you so you can shop it easily as well. I also want to mention that this post is not sponsored - I’m showing you because I genuinely love the pieces! So without further ado, a few of my favourite workout pieces from Old Navy!
This first look is super comfortable and I’m loving the green! These leggings are high-rise and SUPER comfortable, but they’re compression leggings so they don’t budge when you’re working out! I also love this racerback tank - it’s perfect because it’s super fitted and has lots of length so when I moved around, it didn’t ride up. The shoes are Adidas and they’re from a couple of years ago, but I’ve linked a couple similar versions below! For reference, I’m wearing the XL in leggings, and L in the top!
This is a super easy outfit to just add a pullover or zip-up sweater to if you’re going to run some errands before or after your workout, or going to and from the gym. I love the funnel neck style of this pullover! This would also look super cute with a vest or puffer coat overtop for some added warmth! I’m wearing the large.
This outfit was also super comfy! I love the design and mesh detail on the leggings. These are a mid-rise legging so they don’t sit quite as high up, but they still felt comfortable and I felt like I had good coverage. I love how light and breezy this tank is, and the tie detail at the back (scroll down!) is super flattering as well. Again, the shoes are old but I’ll try and link a couple similar pairs that I love!
We interrupt this blog post to feature a very sweet little boy that wanted to show off his muscles and had a giggle being like mommy!
Okay, back to our regular scheduled programming.
This tank is the same as the grey tank from the previous outfit but a different colour! I liked it so much I had to get two. The medium support sports bra I’m wearing in all of these outfits (I got grey and black) are a great bra for me - I realize how different everyone’s needs are when it comes to support; light support bras are a little too flimsy for me to wear during an actual workout, but the medium support is good!
I truly can’t say enough about these leggings - I even bought them in a size down because I love them so much, I want to be able to still wear them if I end up going down in size! They’re high-rise (yasssss) and the 7/8 length hits right at the ankle! These are described as a “street legging” which is a fitting description because they’re comfortable and stylish athleisure at its best. The detailing gives them an edgy, moto vibe and I will DEFINITELY be rocking these to run all kinds of errands. Honestly guys, you could TOTALLY get away with wearing these with heels or booties and a dressy shirt to go out!! Not even kidding. I’m OBSESSED. (I’m wearing the XL!)
Last but not least, I added this SUPER COMFY cardi over my last outfit and it is everything! It’s so soft and comfortable, and really easy to throw on and go. The style also makes it really versatile because you have the option of wearing it different ways- open and drapey, tied closed, and cinched up!
